New Book about Abernethy Caledonian Forest (1 Viewer)

I couldn’t think what I wanted for my Christmas present in December 2017 off my cousins grown up son and so I’ve just found a book that has just been published last month in June about RSPB reserve Abernethy(Loch Garten) and he is going to order it for me. The book is called, Abernethy Forest: The History and Ecology of an old Scottish Pinewood. The book costs £30.00 in hardback and the book sounds interesting in all it's reviews. So my cousins son is going to order the book online for me.

Yes it does look a good book. Excellent for a general naturalist; possibly of less interest if someone is exclusively a birder.

Mine was delivered about a week ago. Haven't had a chance to have a good look through it yet though.

My book has just arrived this afternoon a few minutes ago. The book is very big and heavy. It will take a lot of reading.
