Monteverde Hawk (1 Viewer)

This hawk was seen in Monteverde in February. Obviously has tattered plumage and flight feathers. I assume a 1 year juvenile? Poor picture I apologize for but only saw it in flight. Very diffuse light.

Thank you. I was afraid to venture that thought, but you have confirmed what I thought. A keeper, even with a poor photograph.
