Although I live in Warwickshire, my early birding was done at Ravensthorpe Reservoir a site I have not visited for over 40 years :eek!:.

I have placed a report on my blog and more pics on my website.

Now that I have a permit I shall return on a more regular basis :t:

Nice shot of the Tawny Owl. We seem to have birding roots in some of the same places. I remember seeing (and finding!) my first ever Slavonian Grebe at Ravensthorpe in, I think, around 1986.
