Goodness! Let's hope they find a female for him so they can ensure that the species doesn't become extinct.
 
That's amazing Fiona, it proves that other creatures previously thought to be extinct could one day be re-discovered. I must say though, I think it's a pity he has to live in captivity for the rest of his life so they can keep hs remains.

I know thats somthing Fiona would do herself, if she had found it that is.

There is no suggestion in the article of it being brought in from another country so I assume that has been ruled out.
