Question Birding in Portugal

Hello All

I'm Mike a newbe birder. A hobby I recently started since retiring.

Has anyone been bird watching around Faro, Portugal. I would appreciate any advice on where I could go birding on foot around this area. I have been looking at boat trips around the Ria Formosa. I will be holidaying solo and unfortunately none of the boat trips will accept a single booking. I am happy to travel 30 miles or so from Faro by public transport as well as the local area. Any advise or suggestions would be very helpful.

Thanks for reading this.

Hi Mike, welcome to birdforum from all the staff here, we hope you enjoy the site and feel free to join in where ever you wish.
It may be an idea to create a thread in our dedicated forum for Portugal here https://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=575 or maybe simply the information wanted forum here https://www.birdforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=376
cheers,
Andy
