Hello all, new to the forum and to Mothing in general. The other day my daughter and I found a Luna Moth outside the window and now we are looking to make this into a hobby. I have done my homework on making a solid setup with a white sheet hung up between some trees with a 160 watt clear self ballasted Mercury Vapor light with a medium base..it took awhile of digging to find this exact light online but I just made the purchase from Bioquip which seems like a pretty solid site. Now my next step is finding a good light fixture clamp to go with this. I read that the clamp must have a porcelain fixture to withstand the heat of a MV bulb and of course to be able to withstand a higher wattage then 160. Other then that my setup should be pretty simple. What do you guys think about this one from my local Lowe’s, it has a porcelain ceramic socket and can withstand a 300 watt bulb.

This is a link to the MV bulb that’s supposed to be perfect for nothing

Thank you, any advice or pointers are appreciated!
