McGrath State Beach is a Premier Birdwatching location in Southern California. It is nesting habitat for the Snowy Plover and the Least Tern.

It is currenlty scheduled for closure in September 2011.

on way to shed light on this would be to help our little park in getting National Recognition. Happily we have done a significant amount of the work already and just need a little push. McGrath is currently ranked #7 in the national Live Positively Americas Favorite Park Contest! http://www.livepositively.com/#/americasparks/leaderboard

if you care about this park and want to help keep its amazing biodiversity protected, click the link. select McGrath and vote. you can vote as often as you want at no cost.

Thankyou
