Whimbrel or Curlew - Blakeney, Norfolk (1 Viewer)

Agree the photo isn't exactly great ;)
But to me they're Curlews (probably all of them). There are a few that you can observe their head pattern, with care. They have a subdued head pattern, with no dark crown, and no dark eye-stripe. One of them has a longish bill also.

Okay, thanks! I probably saw quite a few before I realised how to separate them from Curlew and that they were often seen in North Norfolk - this was the only one I seem to have a picture of though as many Curlew/Whimbrel I saw were distant.

Thanks,
Louis
