Spanish Dragonfly ID help needed.. (1 Viewer)

Hi there

Saw the following species a few years ago just south of Alicante on a patch of flowers near to the coast. Was in an urban location away from any obvious ponds or streams nearby.

I assumed some sort of female / teneral darter or skimmer species but can't seem to pin the ID down. Spotted this in mid / early August.

Closest I could think was Souther skimmer or Epaulet skimmer.

Any suggestions / help much appreciated!

Michael
