Best to try and photograph side on. But much larger than a coleoph by the look of it. Ypsolopha scabrella.

Thanks Paul,
Didn't have the opportunity or the vantage point to photograph side-on. Flushed from low foliage and settled on an overlap fence panel, somewhat restricting acess.
I failed to identify the 3 scale tufts from this angle - well done!
