Taking Stills From DVD (1 Viewer)

I have some footage of rarities I videoed several years ago that I put on to DVD.

I know the quality won't be great but is there any software available that would enable me to take stills from my DVD's?

I've a choice of Windows XP and 7. Not much luck with Picture Viewer.

I don't want to print screen and was hoping for something more robust.

I also have the original 8mm tapes as well. I used to have some software for taking from the tapes but from memory it was a bit awkward.

It'll work with XP and Win7 - choose from the 32 or 64bit version

Play the video on the PC with your usual software, pause the video. Press Alt-Print Scrn
Then paste the image to word or whatever!
