What kind of hawk? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Can anyone ID this beautiful hawk for me? I took this picture from my dining room window as he perched in a large pine tree in my back yard. I live in North Central, PA.

I think this may be a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. The breast streaking and apparent longish tail give me the impression of this species.

Juv Coopers certainly. Over all size including legs. Rounded profile in picture 2 clinches it.

Great photo's, by the way!
Bob
