Work party today at Moors

Thanks to all 20 of us for today's effort. These limbs were all pretty large some 45/50 feet high & 18 inch in diameter. Some of the larger limbs were leaning across the river and consequently these had to be hauled back to the Reserve side once cut.
This work will prolong the life of the willows and at the same time provide a great habitat for invertebrates mammals and birds by providing nooks and crannies and plenty of nest holes...
Thanks to Alan D. Andy A. Bob G. Bob O. Bobby P. Bob R. Charles. Graham L. Ian B. Ian J. Jim B. John C. Julie W. Keith M. Kim W. Paul M. Ray C. Tony B. Ellie from the Trust and me.
Also thanks to Andy A and Ellie for the cakes.
