Dove on her nest.

Good afternoon,
Three years ago, a humming bird was kind enough to build a nest on some windchimes on our balcony. I was able to hook up a webcam and streamed the mother sitting on her nest, everyday until the two babies fledged. Birds must like us despite our two cats who would love to dine on the dove.

Regardless, I am streaming as long as I can hold a charge on my old droid phone.

Here is the link:

I've no idea when the eggs will hatch, but I hope to capture the experience while streaming. The window where the bird is is far from any power outlets so I hope that I can come up w/a way to power the phone, and that once I do, it stays on all day.

These first few days will be experimental!

Thanks for looking and enjoy!

streaming live w/a webcam instead of the droid.

Still working the camera location to better show the eggs and not so much sidewalk.

if anyone is interested, I fixed the camera angle. Seems pretty decent to me.

Getting worried, I've not seen a bird on these eggs all day. Wondering if a cat may have gotten them.
