Hey there! I'm new to this forum, so I didn't realize this thread was here. I'm still waiting on my new camera to arrive via mail, so I don't yet have pics to share. But, I went out on Saturday with the hubby to a wild bird trail in a local St. Louis park to enjoy the afternoon. We saw a few species... cardinals, robins, starlings, one very persistent woodpecker, and a red-tailed hawk perched high up in a cottonwood tree.

It was a blast!!!
 
It's nice to walk in nature and enjoy the birds. Sounds like a great day.
