Canon IS 8x25 v. New Canons (1 Viewer)

Has anyone compared the old Canon IS 8x25 to the new 20mm or 32mm offerings? If I remember correctly, it was light, optically very good, and stable, despite the awful plasticky body and strange 'jump' when the IS button was pushed.

Hi ,
I have been able to use the old 8x25 and I found it very manageable, without being exactly pocket, with a very acceptable image and a good image stabilization, what I found very curious was that the image was "small", it was perhaps more a sensation that a reality ...
So far I have not had the luck to try the new ones ..., I have not seen them, only in photographs, I do not know if they are bigger or not ..., but I would like to try them.
best regards,
Pluto

Any updates on the Canon 8x20 IS?

The title says it all. Anyone here who got one and actually used (or used) it in the field? Any impressions?

Hermann
