Hi all, I need help with this warbler taken in the amazing gardens of Merzouga, Morocco last spring

It looks like an Olivaceous Warbler sp but at Merzouga you can see both Eastern Olivaceous and Western Olivaceous. I don't think your photo has anything to distinguish which one it is.

I agree.

Be useful to know what date it was seen, as generally Eastern arrive later. I would say that the lack of greyish tones to me suggests Western, but agree v difficult on this view

Thanks guys it was taken on the 2nd April so more than likely to be a western olivaceous
