Hi Paul,

The first is Fomitopsis pinicola - Quite an uncommon species in Britain, but more common in other European countries.

There's not quite enough to go on in the second photo - Were there pores on the underside? Was in growing from wood?

Thanks, didnt note underside, it was growing from rock in mountain forest
