Came across half a dozen red kites & buzzards circling a freshly mown field yesterday, spent a while watching them then saw one with what looked like a mouse in its talon. All of a sudden he dropped & caught it again, did this 4 or fives times then it looked like he started eating it while in flight. Watched him for a few more minutes then he perched on a nearby tree & finished off the mouse.
