This afternoon 6 Teal, 3m/3f on Tame at Charlemont Road (just outside Valley) also 2 Snipe.

Several Fieldfare and Redwing between Newton Rd and railway bridge.

Single Meadow Pipit and 2 Song Thrush amongst Canada Geese on river bank near slipway.

What will be our 100th species for the year? 2015 it was Wheatear on the 18/3, in 2016 it was Black Redstart on the 15/3 and last year 2017 it was Little Ringed Plover on the 11/3.

Good morning, the roads are now clear but our car parks and driveways have a lot of snow cover, the visitor center and car parks will be closed for this morning as we clear the bottom car park.
The hide will be closed all day. per rspb
