About 15cm in diameter. Seen today in a Worcs broadleaf woodland.

Hi regor,

I would imagine it's Disciotis venosa. This species smells of bleach, hence the common name 'Bleach Cup'.

Many thanks for your reply which confirms my suspicions.
Incidentally, I used Sterry's Collins Complete Guide to make my tentative id and he calls it 'Black Cup', presumably a typo.
