Hiya

Has anyone had any experiance with the 'Hawke Frontier Phase Corrected'? I've tried them in my local store and like them but I wondered what other people think?

Thanks

Well, no. It seems about the level of Nikon Monarchs or Bushnell Excursion 10x42, somewhere in there. Specs are in Kevisn link. There are reviews in that link from birding magazines. World wide warranty sounds good.

For this level of binocular, you will be happier with the 8x42 than 10x42.

Search the forum for "Hawke Frontier" and look at the earlier threads (to ignore the ED ones). I think there is only one Frontier non-ED report (for the 8x) from a person in the UK. He wasn't too impressed.

As Tero says its in the bottom range of acceptable roofs which can vary a bit (and there is a fair amount of competition).
