Mummy Hummy brings her babes to my yard to stay while she goes off food gathering I suppose. Lots of shrubs for safety here and flowers, plus the feeder this year. After using one all winter I hate to take it away from them now.

I think this first one is a boy (Annas) but there are no markings as yet. Doesn't sing like a boy but sure is chippy!

It is rare for me to get 2 at the feeder at one time. And rarely do they share.

Wow that must be really something to look at! I saw a hummingbird flying in my yard one summer several years ago and having been trying to get them back without any success. I tried with the hummingbird feeder for a while but I just got ants all over it so I gave up.

You're right, hummingbirds are terrible at sharing! In your second photo, it looks like you have one anna's and one rufous hummingbird.
