Hello all,

My interest is photographing birds and other wildlife with my Canon EOS 400D. I live near the bay so there is no shortage of birdlife for me to 'shoot'. I have become fascinated by the local Pelicans and I am currently enjoying the soundtrack of Lorikeets and Rosellas zooming everywhere - so far they have been too quick for me and my camera and I am yet to source where they land.

Up the road you can sometimes see Peregrine Falcons and I am sure that I have spotted some larger birds. Last week I also found a colony of Herons.

So, I am a bit blessed with the selection of birds in my neighbourhood.

This is a great web site and I look forward to dropping by regularly.
