December on Mindo (1 Viewer)

Hello birds photographers,

I'm think about to go to Ecuador, begin of December, for bird photography, around Mindo area.
My concern is just the weather, I know, I can expect rain on almost 15 days, but it's just a short shower, on the afternoon, or a rain for whole day, or even many days?
I've checked few lodges on this place and I see, that mostly are located within dense forest, that means by cloudy weather, even with out rain, bad light for e.g. humming birds photography. Am I wrong.

I think that whatever time of the year you go you will get a mix of weather, which will generally include some good weather with decent light as well as some rain. As far as I know it's unusual for it to rain all day in that area and the morning's are often reasonably pleasant with sun likely. I'm sure you will get a lot of great pictures.

Andrew, thanks, I'm sure to ba back home with plenty of good pictures.
Dave, of course my flash will goes with me.

Regards

Lanhua
