Sweeping forest conservation agreement reached in Canada (1 Viewer)

Hooray! - Saw a fabulous program on the CBC last week with David Suzuki and Justin Trudeau, who travelled with a group of people, including representative from the Native community, along a magnificent river thru a part of the Boreal forest. I'll see if I can find a link to it for you to check out. Unbelievable wild unspoilt land - canyons (4 in a row) as big as the Grand Canyon in the U.S. but literally untouched.
 
Good news, but from the biodiversity viewpoint, it would be better if they preserved more of the BC coastal rainforest - which is still being cut like there's no tomorrow
