he is referring to a red-footed plumeleteer, which is also known as a bronze-tailed plumeleteer, which does have some similarities with the rufous-tailed hummingbird.

Yeah but plumeleteer never looks that rufous tailed, even in good light

I agree it is a rufous-tailed, but was trying to clear up some confusion about the plumeleteer reference.

The plumeleteer does not have a rufous tail.

The OP might want to invest in a field guide!
