Sandwell Valley (4 Viewers)

Shoveler pair and Little Grebe on Dartmouth Park this afternoon. Very quiet on Swan Pool this afternoon, 15 LBBG, 6+ Little Grebe, c50 BHG per Matt Hadlington

A nice spread of arriving Northern Wheatears today, including upwards of 30 at Portland, Dorset. Per Birdguides

Curlew just flew over Forge Mill S/W it's looks like the bird was on the main island originally spooked by work party circled lake calling several times and departed

Also from the work party, me and one other! 2 Water Rail, 2 singing Reed Bunt, singing Goldcrest. At least one of the Little Egrets was in full breeding plumage. The Curlew circled round several times after initial sighting. On the debit side the Glauc appeared briefly but may be a hybrid. Slight tail band.per Pete Hackett
