Shearwater Estate, Whitburn List (1 Viewer)

On the basis that I see quite a few each year when seawatching, what has got to rate as one of the most long overdue garden ticks fell this morning.

128. Great Northern Diver

Realised I have not updated this with my latest additions.

129. Grey Plover 13/4/20
130. Common Crossbill 25/6/20
131. Green Sandpiper 1/8/20

Had a wing-barred Warbler in the garden today, but not the expected Yellow-browed, although I have heard one from the garden today.

135. Arctic Warbler

Was out walking and saw a Hawfinch drop into gardens near mine, went home but no sign, but did get a flyover tick whilst looking.

136. Ring Ouzel

A surprise when I stepped out the house this morning with a pair of Grey Partridges on a neighbours front lawn.

137. Grey Partridge
