Looking for Lesser Grey Shrike

Hi Folks

I am going on holiday to southern France in a few weeks time and was wondering if anyone knows any locations where to look for Lesser Grey Shrike.

Cheers

Hello Merlin

I am staying between Montpellier and Narbonne in a village called St Pons de Mauchien.

Hi Chris ,
The best known site is a fair way east of you in the Camargue near Entressen/ St Martin de Crau. I have seen them at Minerve which is some fifty miles west of you. Minerve is a great historical site but has Alpine Swift, Roller, Rock Sparrow, GG Shrike, Woodchat, RB Shrike plus Buntings and a good selection of Warblers. There are LG Shrikes near Perpignan but I have no site details. sorry I can't help more than that.
regards
Merlin
