Thanks to the assistance of the helpful people in the ID section, I've learned that this flock of small green birds in my backyard are Japanese White Eyes. They seem to enjoy eating the peppercorns off of the big peppertree. The photo I provided yesterday wasn't great, but I got some far better ones today that I wanted to share
