I've been wrong lately but that looks like a junco.

I believe that it might be a juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird.

Good long tail. I'll go with junco.

It looks like a young junco to me - did it flash white outer tail feathers when you were watching it?

It is a juvenile Dark-eyed Junco.
