'Portlandica' Arctic Tern- scheme?? (1 Viewer)

Hi

Attached is a picture taken recently of a 2cy 'Portlandica' Arctic Tern in Iceland.

It has a white coded ring on its left leg, JNZ & a browse through cr-birding suggests such a ringing project doesn't exist in Europe. The closest match being a Finnish project that marks Common Terns.

Would anybody be able to shed any light on the ringing scheme this relates too?

Any help or assistance would be gratefully welcomed
