How depressing. Chris Packham has strong views about grouse shooting and raptors being persecuted, but that does not mean that he or Springwatch are "biased" or are engaged in attacks on rural communities. I am apprehensive about what may happen at the BBC under the new DG.

Anyway, thanks for posting this Ian.

The problem with the new director general of the BBC and what he has said allegedly said about presenters publicising there private views and elsewhere such as on twitter, Facebook etc. He seems to want to put an end to that for anyone working for the BBC publicising there private views. Which is why that article was most likely published because of what the new director general of the BBC allegedly said.
