Circa mid-day 3m above ground up a Holly/Ivy bush, am thinking this is a vole and am assuming it's a Field Vole?

This would represent certainly the first ''live'' Field Vole that I've seen, and wouldn't it be unusual at this time of day?

Lastly it ''razored'' through several Holly leaves like lightening, suffice to say I wouldn't have liked it on the end of one of my digits. :eek!:

Cheers

Bank Vole also because the ears are relatively large and not hairy. Field Voles' ears barely appear from their shaggy grey fur and are quite shaggy themselves.

Bank Voles often scramble about in bushes.

The back end shot also shows a tail about twice as long as a Field Vole would have!
