Now I know just because it is one the coast doesn't mean it's a rock pipit!! Or is it?
I think this was just a very obliging meadow pipit.
Can someone confirm this?

Whow - that was quick. Thanks guys. Think I always knew it was a Mipit, but there was just a teeny weeny chance.

Yes the nest was very close. The bird stayed on that post for several minutes and only flew when we were well away.
