Eastern Phoebe nesting in November (1 Viewer)

I have a pair of Eastern Phoebes who have nested on top of a light fixture on my porch for several years. I just noticed they had been adding material to the nest and one of them was spending a lot of time sitting in the nest. I looked in it yesterday and there were 3 eggs!! I did a Google search and couldn't find any references to nesting this late in the year. Has anyone seen or heard of this before? I live in Central Texas.
Thanks!

Wow! That's unbelievable and it is rather late in the year. I hope the hatchlings make it if it gets cold.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:
