Los Angeles Hummingbird

Another try with another hummer. These two photos were taken in Los Angeles yesterday. I am wondering whether there is enough information here to
ID the bird either as a Rufous or Allen's. There appears to be more green on the back. I have no photos with showing the tail in more detail.

Thanks again.

Impossible to ID on the basis of what shows in the photos (which are otherwise excellent by the way).

I agree, but green-backed Rufous are uncommon and Allen's are common in L.A. at this time.

Agree with both comments - cannot necessarily be ID'd from the photos (at least by me) but in socal even when Rufous are passing through, Allen's is much more common. Additionally, among Rufous, fully green-backed individuals are not terribly common either from what I understand.
