Yellow-browed or eastern-crowned warbler? Singapore (1 Viewer)

Hi all, saw this warbler and initially IDed it as a Yellow-browed because of the thick-looking wingbar, also believe I heard the call in the field. However, upon closer inspection, the vent looks rather yellow which matches Eastern-crowned more. However, Eastern-crowned don't seem to have such thick wingbars. Appreciate any help in IDing!

Agree with Eastern Crowned Warbler - those pale lemon-yellow untertail coverts are distinctive :t:

(PS no hyphen ;) it is a Crowned Warbler from the east, not a warbler with a crown on its eastern side 3:))
 
Thanks for confirming, had my suspicions. Looks like that tick will have to wait!

And Nutcracker, thanks for correcting, I have no idea why I keep hyphenating it cause it doesn't make sense at all indeed 3:)
 
I'm currently spending a few days in Singapore en route to Australia and doing a little birding in the process. Eastern Crowned Warbler was a lifer for me although I've seen a good few Y-b's in the UK. This bird looks like an Eastern Crowned to me. It's worth noting that the 'Birds of Singapore' describes Y-b Warbler as 'rare winter visitor' but ECW as an 'uncommon visitor'. However, given the ease with which I've found several ECWs in the last day or two, I suspect it might be less infrequent than suggested.
