The White Fronted Geese were in the fields next to Swan Pool when we arrived around 11am, then very mobile over Forge Mill until we left around 1.30pm, at which point they were in the fields at the back of Forge Mill Farm.

Female Pintail from the hide, and the Goldeneye as noted above.

Willow Tit on the feeders at the Visitor Centre. Parakeets reported shortly before we arrived but had left by the time we got there.

Walking around the opposite side of Forge Mill lake from the Visitor Centre, we could clearly see a large group of Snipe on the islands, basking in the sunshine. I counted 17 in one area alone.
