Rob Hume - My Life with Birds (1 Viewer)

Sounds good!

Shouldn't some BF members write books like that, I'd love to read a book about all of Tim Allwood's and David Bryant's birding, not to mention everyone else

:D

The author of a large number of bird books and RSPB stalwart's bird autobiography - out Sept 2005

It amazes me to be working with some of the biggest names in birding here at the Lodge and I know Rob quite well. Not to mention, Peter Holden and a few other names you would recognise. What is so humbling is that these people are so unassuming yet are so friendly and I guess it is no accident they came together to work at the RSPB (chickens and eggs I suppose). The same could be said of the late Chris Mead who I found to be a tremendously helpful person when I spoke to him about light pollution long before I joined the RSPB. One of my great regrets is that I never met him in person.
