Slovenia in January (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'll be visiting Slovenia next January and will have a couple of days available for birding.

My main target species are:

Ural Owl
Pygmy Owl
Grey-headed Woodpecker
Three-toed Woodpecker
White-backed Woodpecker

I have already read the Punkbirders report from December 2004, which is most interesting and points towards Ljubno and Sava valley for Pygmy Owl and White-backed Woodpecker and Kocevje for Ural Owl and Grey-headed and Three-toed Woodpeckers.

I would appreciate any directions or information on where and how to see these species.

Thanks in advance,

Aleix Comas
