could anybody tell me what sort of adaptor i would need; for a contax u4r.to a kowa ts11 60mm. 20xw eye piece.tried it this morning hand held some of the pictures brill.will try to upload pictures when i learn too.thank you.

Follow this link to eagle-eye and it will tell you the correct adaptor
http://www.eagleeyeuk.com/erol2eu/erol.html
and look at the type selector list
It's probably a type 6, but don't quote me
Good luck with the U4R, it's a good camera but beware of the flimsy plastic gubbins that attaches to the camera lens, it's very easy to break and they cost about £10 to replace. My first one lasted about an hour, I have learnt to be less clumsy since.

EagleEye do decent adapters as do LCE (London Camera Exchange).

I have the Contax SL300RT and the plastic adapter is flimsy - though I'm still using the original and it's had a fair bit of use - £5.00 each off Ebay - if they're still doing them - if not then Pennine Photo also do a good range of adapters/brackets and use to specialise in the Contax/Kyocera cameras.

thanks for your help, but as you can see it is an old thread, and I have sorted it with eagle eye and got the job lot adapter sun shade cable release etc.have not had chance to use it yet, but when I do will show youthe results.thanks
