Greenfinch (1 Viewer)

I saw a bright green-coloured finch this morning in Buckinghamshire (UK). I thought for certain it was a Greenfinch, but then I realised that males are very much duller in winter plumage, and thought perhaps it was a Siskin instead. But...it really looked more like a summer plumage Greenfinch. So my question is, how early might a Greenfinch be in summer plumage? Is mid-March too early? Thank you!

They're certainly in it here in Bulgaria!
