warbler i.d. help new york

very hard bird too photograph.i saw this yesterday in the Bronx low in heavy shrub's.

Although the yellowish throat isn't great for Mourning, it seems to have quite a lot of yellow below for a Common Yellowthroat. My first impression was Mourning.

Mine based on the first pic was Connecticut. Big complete eye-ring, short tailed look. Not sure about the amount of yellow in the second pic, tho.

And I agree that there's too much yellow for Common Yellowthroat.

As was mine, that would be very early and quite rare though. It’s either a Nashville or a Connecticut. It on a look at photo 2 with the yellow throat I’d think Nashville. I am sure it is not a Common Yellowthroat.

Didnít know that but I see what you mean. I guess that makes it either a Connecticut or a Mourning. I really donít think it looks like a Connecticut ultimately
