Hello from Whitstable!

New to this forum lark so bear with me! Im not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but Im keen on bird & wildlife watching, love to have a walk with a pair of bins.. 😊
Im visiting the island of Armona Portugal in a few weeks which is near to Ria Formosa reserves, I dont want to do a guided walk but need some info on where I can go with my bins to see some of the local birdlife. Thank you!

Hi Squinky (love that username LOL) and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

You will find there's a lot of information in our Ria Formosa Opus article, which includes many places to visit and species you might see there. After that, you could post in Information Wanted forum for more specific info.
