Birds common to North and South America??? (1 Viewer)

Hi there, I am a novice birdwatcher from Brazil and will spend a sabbatical in North America (New England). I was looking for a list of bird species that are common to both north and south America, but the search was unfruitful.

Does anybody have access to such a list or have any idea how to compile one?

Thanks
