Late June, sitting in a low bush only a couple of feed off the ground.

I thought Western did - just, now I see they breed just west of Slovakia, not far from the location. I also thought the bird looked pretty white on its underparts for a Chiffchaff.

According to Peter Kovalik's Slovakia checklist, Western Bonelli's is a passage migrant.
