High power Eyepiece (1 Viewer)

Night owl

New member
Hi all,

I am fairly new to birding.
I currently use a 13x eyepiece on my Televue Pronto.
I wish to get a higher power eyepiece.
What magnifications do you like to use?

Thankyou.

It depends on what you want to do if your looking to get into digiscoping then a low power wide angle eyepiece is a good choice as it will help to minimize vignetting.

I'm not familiar with all the Televue scopes, presuming it has an objective lens of over 60mm.... a 20x eyepiece would be a good start, if it is approaching 80mm... then you could use a 30x eyepiece.
Regards,
Andy
