Handa mid July-Skuas? (1 Viewer)

Evening,

I’m up in Inverness in mid July with work. I’ve not seen Bonxies or Artic skuas before and was wondering if they would still be around Handa in mid July?

Thanks

Pete

Sorry, I didn't see this when you posted it back in June and I've obviously no idea whether or not you went to Handa, but on the off chance that it is useful in the future, yes, both skuas will still be present in mid July.

Handa is a great place to see them up close although the numbers of Arctic Skuas are dwindling rapidly, but on my last visit in 2018 there were still a good few to be seen. Both pale and dark Arctic were present along with large numbers of Bonxies.
